The recipient of the July 2022 Green Grant for Hanley is Catriona Flaherty. Catriona has worked with Hanley for over 3 years and is based on the Abbott Diagnostics Facility in Longford.
Catriona said:
In order to reduce my carbon footprint, I recently had solar panels installed at my home in Keenagh, Longford.
This resulted in an estimated reduction of 5000kg of carbon per annum that now puts my BER rating around A2 and has reduced my annual heating bills by an estimated 40 %
The Green Grant initiative provided by Hanley has greatly helped with the installation costs and I’d encourage everyone to get involved
